Previous Year 2005/06The first year since achieving Specialist Status Mathematics and Computing Specialist status has been both successful and challenging. The Community Learners Celebration on July 18th was very successful and enjoyed by all. Particularly pleasing was the success achieved by the learners. This was partially funded by Derby College, through a franchise with Lees Brook Community Sports College Qualifications obtained by learners

A series of taster classes were held to introduce learners to the school. Family history and digital photography were particularly successful.
These were funded by Derby City Council. All participants achieve OCR ICT Skills for Life, and our pupils also complete a module for the Children’s University.
