Family Learning 2005/06

We were pleased to work in partnership with Derby City Council in delivering family sessions after school on a Friday. Derby City Council's web site gives more information - www.derby.gov.uk/EducationLearning/EarlyYears/Family_Learning.htm

The two hour session were split up into two sections:

• For the first hour the children worked with one of our maths teachers improving their maths skills. During this hour the adults learnt and practiced different computing skills.

• For the second hour the children rejoined the adults and the families worked together on IT projects, including OCR Skills for Life course.

All of our courses are designed to be fun and interesting and we always have friendly, knowledgeable tutors to help both parent and child.
